4 Month Stats

Wyatt had his 4 month check up today. He weighed in at 18 lbs 12 oz (95th percentile), length was 25 1/2 inches (75th percentile) and his head was in the 90th percentile! We thought the doctor would get on us about how much he weighed. But, she said he looked great and that he's very proportional with his weight and length. He's just a big boy all the way around!

Blowing Bubbles

Wyatt 4 months

Today we tried something new...Cereal! He wasn't all that interested at first, but he came around. It was pretty funny because he took the first few bites great, but then everytime I would get the spoon close to his mouth he would clamp his mouth shut. He had it closed so tight that his bottom lip would stick out and he did it every time. Of course he was hungry so he would start to scream and I would sneak a bite into his mouth. He ended up eating all of the cereal. Next week we go for his 4 month check up, so next week I will post his new stats. Last month he weighed 16lbs 11oz. Who knows how much he'll weigh this time! Here are some recent pics!

More pics

We had to take Wyatt to the doc a couple of weeks ago because he had a bad cold so we got some new stats. He was exactly 3 months old and weighed 16lbs 11oz. He is so chunky! We go back to the doc in June for his 4 month check up and I'm pretty curious to see how much he'll weigh then!! Do they put babies on diets??? Anyway here are some more pics of him and some of his bald head. Tomorrow he's going to wear his suit to church, so we'll have to put more pics of that on soon.

February 10, 2009....

is the big day. I had a doctor's appointment today and she decided to induce me tomorrow morning!!! They estimated today that he weighs around 9 pounds and I'm already dilated to 3, so my doctor decided we really didn't need to wait any longer! We are very excited and a bit nervous (Matt is much more nervous than I am-which I find a bit funny since the kid's got to come out of me)! So everyone please keep us in your prayers tomorrow and we will post pictures of Mr. Wyatt as soon as we can!

6 1/2 Pounds!

We had another ultrasound yesterday, and their latest estimate is that Wyatt weighs 6 1/2 pounds and is in the 90th percentile for size! So...that means that he gained 3 pounds last month. Maybe I did eat too many Christmas cookies!! He's looking pretty squished in there. We had a different ultrasound tech this time and she gave us a lot more details than we had gotten before. She showed us a picture of his tummy and pointed out the nice layer of fat that he already has on it. So, we've got 6 weeks to go and he already has fat rolls. I guess Wyatt's going to try and match his cousin Caleb's size! But anyway, he still looks good and is healthy! Depending on which one of my doctor's you ask, we'll probably be having this baby in about 4 or 5 weeks. My diabetic doc says they don't usually let diabetic mom's go past 37 or 38 weeks. So we are in the final count down. Thank Goodness! I'm ready! I also am already starting weekly doctor appointments. The end is in sight!! Stay tuned...
