Drum Roll Please...

It's a Boy!!!!! Yes that's right, we have broken Glover family tradition and are having a boy first. It's funny because a lot of our friends have been telling us that because we really want to know what we're having that our child would probably not cooperate and we'd have to wait 4 more weeks to have another ultrasound to find out. Well...for awhile there I thought that they were all right. At the beginning of the ultrasound he was sleeping and the umbilical cord was covering up all of the important parts. So the tech told us that she would do all of her measurements and we would come back to it. Well wouldn't you know, our child slept through most of it. When he finally woke up he would kick and move his arms, but was apparently pretty comfortable where he was cause he was not about to do any flips or turning around. Finally at the very end, after the tech had been wiggling my stomach for about 10 minutes he finally moved and we could see that he is definitely a boy. Matt had been pretty nervous throughout the whole thing (afraid that it would be a girl), but he instantly relaxed when he found out that it's a boy. He says he would like a girl, but he really wanted our first one to be a boy. I guess the good Lord knew what he was doing and didn't give Matt something he couldn't handle- a little girl!

All of the stats for the baby are all normal. He's the right size and isn't missing any parts and doesn't have any extras. My due date also has not changed. So we should still expect to meet the little guy sometime around February 22! We're very excited. Tomorrow when I get to work I'll scan and post some of the pictures. So check back tomorrow to see what he looks like (if you can tell).
